Currently in California at the moment. Picking up a rental bike Friday, riding through Yosemite national park, up and around Mono lake then up and around lake Tahoe and back to San Francisco and home. Taking 3 days and going to enjoy the view!

Oh, and no Harley for me!

I'll post up some pictures when I get back!
Did that last year on an 1800 Wing. It was EPIC. Have fun thumbup Some cracking windy rodes on the way into Yosemite up the mountainside. Just don't look down. hurl

Currently loading up the van, new job starts on Monday. I'm moving into the oil and gas industry during my return to the UK and it appears we don't get Bank Holidays off. Yay.

Aberdeen here I come...

Forecasts not looking great. Got a new fusebox to fit and rubber boot for the cold start plunger so I'll be spending an afternoon stripping the bike but no riding plans.

Coz of those southern wkers who've decided Saturday is going to be less crappy than Sunday I'm now going to my parents on Sunday.

Or I might polish my life sized replica of Mitzy (bow), made of belly fluff, and fall asleep in its arms dreaming of a biker wedding. cloud9

Then bash one out.

I'm helping Bobski by driving the van up to Aberdeen and back down on Sunday.

Monday I'm working 1400-2200.

Tuesday I'm on call for the blood bike charity 0700-1900. So that's probably the only bikey bit of the weekend.

Unless I decide to ride Bobski on his first night in his new house in Aberdeen. I'd best pack some lube.

Plan B is to ride to Bristol tomorrow to see some mates of his just for the sake of it biggrin

Bikey, picking my new (to me) ZXR750 up tomorrow with my trusty trailer, a nice 360 mile round trip, bringing it back, putting all my gear on and taking it out for a jolly nice ride....gratuitous pic!!

And obviously watching TT and GP!
Love that thumbup

Four days off work and no bikey plans for me at the minute, although we do have two bbqs planned, might see if I can get out for an hour on tuesday.

Just got back from being a loon, airborn over little jumps and finally got my knee down smile, all in the name of getting an oil filter for my bosses Ducati 1098.

Just put hel braided lines on the front, even managed to bleed them fairly well. I'll see how well they work tommorow.

My bikey activity was to find out why my previously-reliable WR450 was running like a sack of 5h1t last time out.

Got the carb off, stripped it down only to find that the pilot screw, along with the spring, o-ring and washer who share it's space, were all missing!

So unless someone sneakily unscrewed it while I was negotiating trees and ruts, it's vibrated itself loose and fallen off! Never come across that before. Definitely explains all the symptoms I was having.

So now to find a supplier of spares for a Keihin FCR.
