Thats the one, apologies about the awfull pictures!

If the weather improves I will get some decent ones on Sunday

And yes lets not mention the money, please lol

Someone will be getting a bargain. Are you not tempted to park it up until you come back?

Very, but when will I be coming back, 6 month if things dont work out then will regret selling it, otherwised 3-5years. Wont do the car any favours leaving it laid about.

Really dont want to sell but at one of those cross roads in life, which way to go and my decision is made, giving lots up hopefully to gain in other ways, hopefully lol

Was going to ask more but the sale comes with some restrictions, i.e its not going anywhere till the plates off it and also the fact it cant be viewed for a week or so a flexible ish buyer will need to be found.

Also if they want to pay the asking price and get some of the cosmetics sorted then taking the plate off time wise will give me time to sort those out.

if i were you i'd start a couple of k higher, with a bottom end of your asking price.

but hey you could always drop it to 10k and have it off the drive within a week hehe

Virtually everything as its the right colour lol, however would cost more than buying the car as a whole

Good luck Aftershock. Take heart that there's clearly some GTO/Monaro/Lumina-based action to be had in the United Arab Emirates (see You Tube clips below) and kindred spirits to yourself who are happy to spend some serious money on their cars:

I gather from my sister who lives out there that "gas" is dirt cheap and the driving is pretty crazy, undertaking all over the shop. There is speed enforcement, but you just pay fines, no points, so its a case of how fast can you afford to go?!

I think a limit exists on how many fines can get before the authorities take an interest!

Yes the fuel is beyond dirt cheap, hence the need for a big old engine will be strong in me.

But thanks for the kind words and links. Must admit getting into the car scene as nice as it would be really wont be a priority for some time, whole point of going out is to earn some money not spend it (yeah right give me a month lol)

Thanks for your interest in my Monaro purchase and for your follow up - AAS in Newcastle have been great and Stuart only lives 3 miles down the road from me - small world. Car running well - all the oils have been changed, front discs and pads and brake pipes next weekend. Still not got to the bottom of the electric problem (lights) but it all points to an earthing problem and now the screen wash has packed up banghead
Good luck with your move - byebye
