There doesn't seem to be anyone on the PH PS3 server? Or will it just say that because I don't have the extra maps?

The servers I've managed to get on, there is way too much spawn raping. Not happy.
I think the server stays essentially empty until people deliberately choose it, then it starts to fill.

I often go on to find it empty, so load it up, send invites to online persons, and make a cuppa/abuse the missus until there's four players and the game restarts.

It's also good for practicing helis and jets. I seem to have a masterful attack heli run on Caspian, jinking at low level through the little river valley between B and C, but only when there's no-one else on...

Send me a friend request (kittysway) and I'll add you to the VIP list. Although quite what that means I haven't found out yet!

I like the conquest domination and GM but I agree it should be best weapon first to make it harder. Not keen on the maps as such and the assignments are pretty easy, compared to B2K.

Just played 500% Metro on a server called "Herbal City UK". Match ebbed and flowed but with the scores 1120 to about 850 in our favour, I got kicked by the Admin. Went back into the server and the top 6 players on the oppo team (server host judging by the their names, all 40+ kills) were still playing, everyone else had been kicked. They had all 3 flags and were playing against 6 people who had just joined and had 0 kills between them.

What's the fking point? Bunch of stupid tts.

I second that question. Is it a wise buy?

If you plan on getting all the DLC, then it is pretty much a no-brainer.
However, if you are expecting anything above and beyond that, then it is pretty worthless.

I think it's worth it for premium pack.

Just a heads up, it's double XP this weekend think 7.00am sat - 7.00am sun and it's any server, level and not just premium players.
Great oportunity to level up a bit everybody.

I agree with that - if you're playing multiplayer a few times a week and plan on getting all of the DLC, it is worth it as you get early access to the DLC and a small discount.

Otherwise, don't bother as you're only benefitting from the fluff - a few new dog tags and skins for weapons, i.e. nothing that actually makes a difference to the game.

I made myself look an idiot when pexy asked if I had it. Thought it only gave you early access to buy the dlc, to which I was highly amused but unimpressed. Pex pointed out that you get everything included for the 40 and now im sold. Will be getting premium very soon.

Looking forward to close quarters purely coz i do have a secret love for CODing it up, and enjoy the slaughterfests of metro, bazaar and siene, so a bit more cqb cant be bad. Dont get me wrong, im giddy about 'the big one' in end game (i think?)

ETA also got my fingers crossed about dino mode.

CQ games aren't like Meatro or Bazaar, maybe if the spawn system was the same as Conquest but it's more like Team Deathmatch with some objectives thrown in.

i'm not fussy about dino mode tbh, i hated zombies on COD so I can;t imagine liking dinos on BF3.

CQB thus far has been fun, good players like yourself fuz will like the fast action. I've had some cracking intense domniation conquest games on ziba tower - no real tactics as such as you find on Rush on the bigger maps....the action is so fast sometimes I forget I'm supoprt oand forget to drop ammo etc. some of the time there isn't time to even use it!!!

I'm liking gun master personally at pres, just something a bit different..havn't won one yet...

PS does anyone know if there will be new ribbons / medals with CQB etc?

No new ribbons or medals as far as I've seen and I doubt there will be if they weren't included in the original DLC.

There are some new PS3 trophies though.

Will the DLC be chargable this time then?

I don't think they're playable without Premium until the 26th of June.

Jas, if you got the preorder then Back to Karkand was a freebie, otherwise I believe it was a tenner...

If you've got B2K, then there is a small discount buying premium instead of all four remaining packs separately plus the little niceties such as a different knife, or early DLC release.
