The car is probably as good as any OPC's.

Sounds like the garage/owner knows how his stuff. Priced cheap too imo. I'd be very tempted to view this car if i was in the market for a 7.2RS, with ceramics.

No lift system. Plus no extended / third party 2 year Porsche warranty. "Serviced at Porsche Cardiff June 2012 50 miles ago with no Advisories, Over Rev Range Checked with a Reading of 1 (which is the lowest in the range)"

Not entirely. A range 1 on one of these actually means that it has been mechanically over revved beyond 9000rpm. That still ought not be a problem, but according to Reading they wouldn't sell a 997 GT3 with any over revs. Even with this in mind though, that is a very keen price for one of these."Serviced at Porsche Cardiff June 2012 50 miles ago with no Advisories, Over Rev Range Checked with a Reading of 1 (which is the lowest in the range)"

Eh? AFAIK a Range 1 and a Range 2 are both within the engine's rev limiter. In which case drive flat out in first, don't change up quick enough and you'll hit that range, the limiter will kick in and protect everything well within safe limits, usually immediately followed by an up-change.DiscoColin said:

that's crap mate. range 1 is easily triggered, and perfectly safe. Reading are talking bs if that's what they told you. Happy to eat my hat if wrongGassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
