All too brief for me. One conference call and two meetings with actuaries later, I am sure that we could have a conversation which I understood better if I had stayed and had another six pints.

Re golf,we need a geographic situation somewhere not too far from us all which will be virtually impossible to find. At least we can keep waffling about it on a regular basis without achieving anything!

I'm not sure when I'll next be down that way - I didn't get the job at Red Bull racing cry

Still plenty of other F1 teams to try, but only a few of them seem to use Unigraphics and I'm not a huge fan of Catia grumpy
One of the guys that works for me recently joined from Siemens PLM. Let me know if I can help in any way George.

Cheers Slarti but I am all sorted now, decided to stay within aerospace for now, and hopefully move to F1 in a few years beer

Great venue Pete, thanks for organising. Next time (soon I hope) we should make sure diaries are clear for the entire afternoon and evening beer Was that venue easy enough for everyone to get to?

It certainly was convenient for me!
You can be pretty assured that they will look after us and I know the daylight is a bonus for some too.
Thanks to all for making the effort and trailing down/over.
I agree, next time I'll make sure I don't have any other commitments and we can settle in for the afternoon beerburgerdrinkdrinkdrinkdrinkdrink

You did OK in the limited time you had ...... The barmaid was filling your new glass before the last one was empty.

"It wasn't my fault, the dastardly bar staff kept forcing me to drink more" I think Paula's had that one a few times now!

Nice to see you chaps, and meet a few more Astonauts smile

Sorry I was a late-show but enough for two pints of Mad Dog and some banter.

Venue is great for me - and thanks for organising, Peter.

I think that was Mad Goose actually Adam.
Mad Dog heralds back to the Fox and Firkin days vomit Ooh that's a headache I choose not to remember.

The organisation took literally ...... well not very long truth be told!
If we want to make it a regular haunt the staff will be more than delighted to take our fine upstanding £s and good nature.

I hope that you mean before the start of the paras and after ones starting next week.

August could be a very long month otherwise!
