Anyone can make a badge and put a number on a car. It means squat. I'd be checking it out if I was looking for one, as well.

There's a guy on ebay that makes fake ones. There's at least one forum member that has had badges made.

Glad it was a good day Donk, I did turn up and parked up about 11.30 when I got out the car I had forgot my wallet !!!!!! So gave up and had a drive to Canterbury on the A251 through chilham, great road for a blast, look forward to seeing the photos
