Well, a really slow Landy has been getting slower...and slower...and slower.
Absolut max is now 50mph. Filters are fine, carb isn't clogged, no leaks, good exhaust. Any tips? I'm guessing dodgy fuel pump maybe.
Cheers

Carb, sediment in the fuel line and fuel pump are all possibilitiesAbsolut max is now 50mph. Filters are fine, carb isn't clogged, no leaks, good exhaust. Any tips? I'm guessing dodgy fuel pump maybe.

In reality though, I would be looking to swap a decent engine into the thing ASAP.
The 2.25/2.5 was crap when it came out, and has been crap ever since.

Just thought of another one that I've seen on a couple of Landies.
Sand in the fuel tank. Myself & a mate both had this after too much wading, given long enough the sand turns to jelly in diesel & blocks the fuel pickup resulting in no power at all. Our Tdis could barely hold 50mph by the time we solved it.
