Yep, not looking forward to selling my 123d for the same reasons. I was considering a 135 which is why I spotted yours but a friend then decided to sell his immaculate 130i with a few tasty BMWP parts on it so I've ended up saving my pennies and getting that instead, maybe to swap for a late 135 or an M135 in a year or twohay940 said:
The old 'Rag over the number plate' approach! lolThe 135i is a fantastic little car, had mine for 2 years now.
The factory M-Sport suspension and RFT's are truely crap though, and I've shelled out for decent non-RFT's on lighter aftermarket rims and the Birds suspension which has completely transformed the car, so much more compliant and devoid of all the crashiness of the poorly designed OEM suspension.
BMW Performance exhaust is a must have as well

Agreed on the uprated suspension and ditching run flats, does make the car a lot more planted and progressive. A remap will take it to a whole new level too........
Currently do a 110 mile daily commute to Guildford with a 123d M Sport 5 door on a 59 plate. About to potentially jack that in for a 4 mile commute to Whitely, so 135i has suddenly popped up on my radar as I'd like to get back to a petrol, the other thoughts was trying to look for a 130M
So a petrol based motor, VAG or BMW and a push bike!

Push bike for the commute. So a petrol based motor, VAG or BMW and a push bike!
A 4 mile commute won't do a 135i any good, it won't even get close to getting up to temp.
I used to do a 26 mile each way commute in my 135i, and it wouldn't up to temp until about the 8-9 mile point, and that was only because, after just 1 mile I was driving on a NSL dual carrigeway.
But, otherwise

I have decided that i am going to sell my 135i and it will be advertised from this weekend, i thought i might give you guys first shout. its on a '60' plate. it is in good condition witha few minor scratches. in black. im not sure what engine it is, old or new but i guess you guys may be able to know that. i have owned it from new and it only has 20k miles on the clock. i bought the car with a 5 year serviceing and warranty package ( of which it has only had 1 service) and i beleive this package is transferrable to new owner. I am currently in the birmingham area and im looking for £20,500. any questions please feel free to ask.
Blimey. Seems a bit expensive to me. You can buy an M135i on a 62 plate with 10k miles and from a BMW dealer for £24k!dapearson said:

Just too few of them sold in the UK, so, no not really. Getting them rebuilt by a turbo specialist will save a bit, but, its still going to cost close to that if you have to pay someone to do it, rather than wielding the spanners yourself.A big part of that cost is that, as per the manual, it's an engine out job to replace both of them, so labour costs are the biggie in that amount.
The N55 is the way to go rather than the N54, especially with a cab, as you aren't going to be looking at power upgrades with a cab, because of the wobbly bodyshell, and the only reason people go N54 is for big power upgrades.
