Thanks for the positive comments, as you can probably tell, I'm well chuffed with Colin's work. With the risk of boring you, I thought I'd post a few more pictures.

In the very simplest terms, it's a 4.6 Litre Rover V8 with plenty of go faster bits thumbup

It will be going into a TVR Chimaera.

Forgive my stupidity but where do teh two forward facing pipe go to/from? One appears to go into the supercharger so I guess is attached to the air filter but the other appears to come from the plenum so must be on the inlet side? Does this come from an intercooler? I can't figure it out confused

So if its using an intercooler is it turbo charged as opposed to supercharged?

Its supercharged (driven by a belt) as opposed to turbocharged (driven by exhaust gas)

Hi, No its a supercharger, You can use an intercooler for either. An intercooler or Air charge cooler, cools the forced air to increase its density, meaning you can get more air into the same space giving a bigger bang and improved burn.

Yes, I know the difference between a turbo and a SC just didn't realise one bothered to charge cool a supercharged engine. I always thought that the reason many turbos have intercooled is because the turbo being driven by the exhaust gets very hot. A supercharger on the other hand being belt or gear driven will not be any hotter than the plenum which is why I didn't think they'd be intercooled and hence my confusionsmile that's all...

No risk of boredom here, that is the most interesting pic I have seen for a while, the workmanship looks second to none. I hope it goes as well as it looks. Looking forward to seeing some pics of it installed.
