Think I spotted a part of the run on the B660 near Kimbolton at about 11.30 ish, certainly a convoy of about 8 including a Lambo a couple of fezzas and a mean sounding black Porsche
I was going in the opposite direction in my 993 C4. Looked like everyone was having some fun.
That will have been the Flying Horse contingent on their way in from Clophill. Black Porsche was a matt black RWB-style 993.I was going in the opposite direction in my 993 C4. Looked like everyone was having some fun.

What a great day.

The run was excellent, although there was some rather choice over taking maneuvers near Pitsford
A notable one being a learner slowing and indicating to turn right, then someone over took it!
There were other rather questionable ones too, but its not my place to mention what cars they were.....
Aside from that, it was an excellent day.
I've got a few photos to post in a bit

what a great day and excellent run
many thanks to Mark and his crew for arranging the run (and the weather) and to the lady and gents on catering
thanks to Jack for saying "hi" (must be your brother with the house then)
we called into the Rushden Historic Transport Society, with their fabulous bar, for a swift half as it would have been rude not to, to round the day off nicely

Thanks for a good day, My son and I enjoyed it
We went straight from DH to Sywell when the Rozzers arrived and enjoyed a quiet coffee in the Pilot's mess waiting for everyone to arrive, my son (aged 10) took some photos:

Fantastic day. Thank you for laying this on. That attending officers attitude was initially a bit interesting (I'll leave it as that...).
Tony & Phil were as pleasant and enthusiastic as ever - that Cayman looked like it handled well Tony.....
Shame we had to leave before "part two" - but my passenger had work - really good day / drive out - thanks again.
