I'm pissed why can't we talk about you know what? Is Baron Von Stumble sueing himself or sometjing? Last time you were pissed on PH that I remember, was on my crash thread when you offered to take me to hospital.
I am afraid about what is about to happen.
Thankfully i had been drinking so didnt waste my time with you hypocondriact b

OK?
Good
Rather than have a cheap pop at this bloke why don't you go and make some videos yourself on youtube?Good

I'd love to know how many people honestly would subscribe to hear what you had to say. Given you know so much about these things you're happy to openly talk down to people.
I think that the Baron's videos are of real quality; more so than some of the professionally produced stuff like Fifth Gear was when I last watched it. It's good to see an amateur job turn out to be so funny, variable, and well made: all on motorbikes too.
That's the gayest thing I've said all year, but you've got to praise someone who you've never even seen but can make you laugh and nod to your computer screen for ten minutes solid every now and then.

Totally agreed, I think a couple of people are just out for a troll.

A cracking video as always from the Baron... his opinions and views on bikes are always refreshing and videos highly entertaining... that's why I've watched them all.
Best pieces of contemporary motoring journalism going for me, the only other videos I religiously watch are Chris Harris's, not much else entertains me now.

Anyway, Angus put some VMAX footage up.
Hang on... I said I didn't agree with a conclusion in a very unscientific test. I stand by it.
You post up a video and have an adoring following does not make you immune from criticism no matter how tribal it is...
The reason I like him is he sounds well rounded and doesn't take himself too seriously. Sadly this is dissipating..
I think the real issue is I spoiled my post with a bit of joshing about him not getting to an apex. THIS, I feel is the energy behind his (indefensible) defence.
I like him, the cut of his jib and he makes me laugh with leftfield remarks about fig rolls etc, and his reaction to bad drivers is like he is living in my head. Same:Same.
But he has to understand that if you post race track coverage, you may get some observations. Defensiveness when a counterpoint is tabled will be treated for what it is...

I'm not really a youtube viewer, I just thought he seems quite a measured bloke and I think there's more tactful ways of being critical.
As I like to think I'm being when I'm criticising you for example.
For sure, the delivery is sometimes more noisy than the message. But the banter / tease tack is more fun, as it does get varied reactions. As I like to think I'm being when I'm criticising you for example.

The corollary of being a celeb is that people will feel they know you better than they do and don't respect the usual boundaries of familiarity etc and can be misplaced with their comments. I may well be guilty of this.
My joshing was meant to elicit joviality and exaggerated emotions for effect. No malice meant.
I'll contact his agent and see how he would like to be treated. What fragrance he wants in his scented candles and how many truffles he wants in his quail egg omelette

...but I stand by the assertion that the Blade wins that test.
