To be fair even if it stops raining it won't be dry today. Everything is soaked from yesterday an it'll be misty as hell.

Postpone would be my vote.

I fking hate wet Sunday's.

now the highlight of my day is housework as I've already had the hellish trip to asda with the nosey bh checkout last I end up with every week.

"oh steak pie you having that for you'r dinner tonight" yes
"oh you like your juice" I do yes
"oh that cake looks good I could eat it just now but I'm trying to cut down on chocolate" oh it's working!
"oh good deal on the detol, that you away home to do the cleaning for her and cook the tea" oh for f***

it's a fking invasion of my privacy I tell you.

next week I'm just gonna buy tonnes of baby oil, Vaseline and condoms see wit the nosey cow says.

Avoid housework and watch MotoGP instead. You know it's the right thing to do.

Actually, I had left already. Stirling's a long way to go for a coffee, but I did meet up with leighz, so we had a wee chat, slagged the rest of you off for not turning up (it was the mildest of drizzle at worst, you wimps), and then parted company and went home, around 11:45.
Whether we went for a ride or not, it was at least an opportunity to meet up with some like minded local bikers, so a bit disappointing really.
So, next meet on the 9th June? I hope that it's glorious sunshine.
I'll be back around the 6th, so hopefully the weather will have been kind for the rest of you.

I've checked 3 forecasts, one of them a highly reliable app on my aye phone (its never wrong), all 3 say no rain and much sun, I'll bet my left testicle it'll be dry. Are you off next weekend?

I should be kicking around next weekend, so if the weather is good I'll be up for it.

I did check, but I had left the house before you wrote your "postponed" notice at 09:00. I just assumed that even though it was foggy here, and a wee bit drizzly on the way up to Stirling, we had agreed that it would clear up later (which it did), hence the later than originally planned meet of 09:30 being moved to 10:30.

My cousin used to live in Falkirk, and he told me that it has it's own unique weather system, usually at odds with the rest of the country. When I was living near Dunblane, and travelling past Falkirk to Edinburgh, that certainly seemed true more often than not. Sunny at Stirling, raining at Falkirk/Grangemouth, sunny at Linlithgow.

Anyway, no worries, we'll all meet up eventually in June.

The roads were greasy as hell just outside Edinburgh right the way through to the coast.

I'm being funny Jock, but I think to be fair to to MTB, the guy was up at 8.18 checking what people wanted which you didn't respond to (or didn't read).

You're only an hour away mate, you could have checked.
