Old, slow(ish), but she's finished every event we've started.
You don't always have to go fast to have fun! smile

Ferrari P4. When I saw this in 1968 I was entranced, and the sound it made just elevated it further up my favourite competition car list. This photo was taken at Surfers Paradise Tasman meeting where it was driven by Amon and beaten in a sprint race by Matich in the SR4. I saw it the following Easter at Bathurst driven by Warwick Brown where it set a new top speed record for Conrod Straight - 181mph. The car then went to South Africa and I think it was destroyed in a fire?

OK, I'll see your Aston and raise you one Lagonda.

Sadly the Euro Lottery didn't pick the right numbers on Friday, so I did spend the weekend going shopping

Yes I love the V12 Lagonda but on the basis the DBR1 actually won Le Mans I'll go with that. Tell you what when our numbers come up we can each buy one and race them biggrin

Well if the requirement is to win at Le Mans then the Lagonda M45R Rapide is rather nice too, but I couldn't find a convenient picture.
(I am trying not to be too predictable, I thought I'd done quite well not mentioning either C or D types)

Ferrari 246 Dino F1.
In my opinion, the best sounding car on a race track bar none!
