Good spot, but as much as I like Aston Martins that looks just plain nasty. The styling is iffy (to say the least) and the wolfrace style wheels don't appear to sit in the arches correctly.

Wow.
Exactly what I was thinking!
57L is on a 575m marenello apparently... If that was real would it not be a £20m car?
Registration is 57C....
I'm waiting on NomDuJour/Trommel to validate what that is...

NDJ/Trommel - normally you just tell us what the car is, not 'wow', so you seem taken aback... smile

Can't image anyone risking driving it.

It's a Type 57C Stelvio by Gangloff. Very cool to see on the motorway.

Any idea how many Gangloff's are out there?
Totally agree: wonderful to see cars like that used and in action, not just static at a concours.

Don't think it's a Gangloff. More like a Stelvio..?

EFA: It's not like Ralph Lifstz's Gangloff, is what I meant, but they built Stelvios too...

That Bugatti is an amazing spot. Truly amazing. Close to the best I've seen over the 5 volumes of this thread!

I also love the colour of that RS5 above, really unusual and really works. smile

Absolutely. I know Red is Ferrari's signature colour but it gets boring seeing so many red ones, and the 355 doesn't look that great in that colour IMO...usually I don't like silver either as everything these days (well, so many cars) seem to be either silver, black or white....but that 355 looks awesome in that colour.
long winded point I know but hey...got there in the end.
Thanks gents. I spent years looking for a Grigio 355 with the Carbon Seats and couldn't find one. In the end I boought a yellow one and had it resprayed Grigio Titanium. It's been 8 years since I started monitoring 355's on the PH classifieds and I've not seen another Grigio GTB Manual with carbon seats come on the market in all that time. My understanding is that Grigio Ferraris were pretty rare in the 90's, it just wasn't the done colour back then. I love it to bits - it's everything I ever wanted and expected it to be, and more. Only car i've ever bought that hasn't lost money, too!

Gangloff is the coachbuilder, Stelvio refers to the type of coachwork it has (i.e. cabriolet; saloons - Galibier, Ventoux and Atalante coupes, Grand Raid roadster, Aravis cabriolet).

I live in hope that by having it resprayed I've effectively made it unsellable, that way Sarah can't ever expect me to sell it :-)

Local car? I'll keep my eyes peeled if so.
Indeed it was. This was her first outing of 2013 according to the owner.

What would Ferrari say if they knew you have destroyed the original colouring, and dared to make a choice like that.

GOOD FOR YOU!!!

A great decision.
