Have we had this E320? Nice spec, Bornite over Cream/Beige Leather with air con and heated seats. The ad is a bit on the short/unintelligible side and the pots of salt in the footwells point to either a mad vendor or a leak.

What's not to like? That Bornite really has grown on me. Buy it. Buy it now. And get him to throw in the salt.

Is it rice that helps remove smells? Could be silica gel crystals to get moisture out.

You're right. And a little scarey!
Took a while to find a picture with the reg number on using the iPhone wink.

I've just been to Dorset for the week with the family (520 miles of driving for the week). All the while, the Mrs would turn the climate on and off and open and close the windows whether she felt hot/cold/menopausal/whatever..... I hate to sound sexist, but is the theory of climate really as confusing as the offside trap or a Flux-Capacitor?

Possible potential of a new thread/rant?
I have a new solution.

She sits in the back with the baby on longer trips now. So I make sure the windows are closed and press the "child" switch, so she can't do anything.

Until she starts taking an old radio aerial or something to reach the buttons.

That ain't cloth, that's velours. The lop-sidded telephone aerial would do me nappa in. Otherwise LOCFTM.

I tried the same, she claims travel sickness. I think divorce may be the only solution...

If I had to buy another id stick with post facelift cars, there are too many niggles on the earlier ones - thankfully I haven't needed to. The current one has lasted over 1yr now and keeps chugging along nicely despite the 176k miles - im going to be doing another 1.5-2k miles in it the next 10 days too.
That is a facelift car in the mechanical sense. There were two major revisions to the S60/V70 line - the mechanical/electrical changes which occured in mid-2003 for the 2004 model year and the cosmetic ones in mid-2004 for the 2005 model year.
