Hi LFC fans. Good second half to the season. I predict next season you guys will be right up there.

Anyway, I popped in just to ask what was in the envelope?

Think your right with that prediction to be honest, looking better now.

No one knows, ask rodgers.

ah the sly dig tactic. Who you calling troll. If you're going to ignore me then at least do it properly.

Bet the super fans think that the prospect of signing Kola Toure is a shrewd move.

As for a free signing. I'm sure his wages will more than make up for that.

I'm actually out of the country BCM. Perhaps you could summarize the panorama programme when you get a chance. I'll iPlayer it when I get back.

Calling an LFC fan a cock when the subject matter is Hillsborough is poor form.

Mart has asked us to leave it alone, and we both have.

Yet you wade in and requote everything, well after the fact.

Please do as Mart asked.

This... ^^^^

I deleted it, BCM has apologised, no kittens were hurt, move on.

I'm annoyed with myself for missing it too, I guess it will be on iPlayer. As someone who, to my shame, believed a lot of what was written about those fans at the time until the real truth came out, it would certainly have educated me.

I can only assume he'll be used as cover: http://www.espn.co.uk/football/sport/story/208312....

As long as it's not a deal along the lines of Joe Cole! He was a very good player but hasn't featured much lately has he? I think my position is 'meh' but happy to be proved wrong if he delivers.

The hard bit was some of the footage that was shown.

Stuff from various BBC cameras and the police CCTV.

And then all followed up with a discussion of just how bad the cover up seems to have been and how quickly it started.

Regardless of the club involved it was shameful.

Good that we're looking to get players early. Maybe Toure has something to prove? With our relative success in the January window, and BR's talking up of his scouting and transfer team setup, one would assume they've done due diligence on every transfer target and will only be looking to buy the ones that they consider will fit into BR's vision of our team going forward.

I hope.

Well, he's hardly played in what, 2 years? So there can't be a great deal of recent data to go on. Hence why they must only be considering him as a back up?

Yep, but even as backup, a player would need to "fit", Thats all i meant. Perhaps he's the older mentor type that would replace Carra...

Maybe the scouting staff that we recruited from Man City had something to do with recommending him?

Have to agree, never really set the world on fire has he? Who else would fit the bill for a leader/ rock solid CB with time on his side? Could we prise Samba away from QPR?
