Super busy weekend and have hardly been able to stop for an hour but managed a half-decent session today.

Bench: 6 x 135kg, 3 x 145kg, 9 x 120kg
Squat: 8 x 165kg, 6 x 175kg (still taking it a bit easy after some back issues)
Pull-ups: 6 x bodyweight+10kg
Dips: 10 x bodyweight+25kg
Leg extension: 12 x 140kg
Chins: 7 x bodyweight+10kg

Onwards and upwards!

Not much over the weekend, just the usual 5x50 Push Ups each day.

Varied it up a bit on Sat by doing 10 Clap Push Ups at the start of each set of 50 which made things a bit harder.

Also added a set of 10 Grasshopper Push Ups at the end of the 250 last night... Felt that.

I've told him about the beard thing!

You're from northern Scotland aren't you Viper, doesn't your area have a reputation for strongmen and the Highland games, similar to the Iceland as well I believe with guys like Magnusson?

It has a reputation for Highland Games 'heavy' athletes but not so much in strongman per se. Most good Scottish strongmen came from further south in Scotland (mainly due to a lack of appropriate training facilities up north until recently I'd say). Although there have a been a few in the last 10 years or so from my birth town of Fort William...

5kg of Banana flavoured whey from myprotein for £30. Type www.bulkpowders.co.uk into myproteins price matcher to get this price.

Just ordered me 15kg for £88 delivered, will last me for a while!
3x 5kg bags for £29.00ea and 1x 5kg bag for £1.79 (done through another account)! A glitch on there website caused it. I know of some that have now recieved 25kg for under a tenner. So I got 20kg for around £92.00- that'll do.

Today was Snatch, snatch pulls and pause squats.

First kinda decent session for a while for me since I tweaked the long bi tendon.

Low bar squats up to 145kg, some overhead press work up to 56kg but felt weak. Did it more to see how it felt than anything else. Certainly progress tho - there wasn't any pain.

Tried a couple of dips and got the full ROM without any pain but a little tightness in the tendon, so that's encouraging.

Also tested out how I felt with pull ups, and while there wasn't any pain, I did notice that my right side is over compensating a bit, at the top of the movement - which is irritating me.
