Hi Peeps..Without being biased or taking sides its clear that us wedgers are a passionate bunch and sometimes we get a little feisty..Trust me..I know..Last weekend i nearly got into a fight because some low-life scum sucking trash called delilah an old C~~T!..He got a very large helping of south london sauce i can tell ya...Anyway i personally would love to get to every TVR/Wedge event and classic car show possible in one year as i love the variety of all these events..After all variety is the spice of life..Every time i see the roads that you have further north it makes me dribble and i will make it to an RNR one day..Maybe next year..And not just for the rusty as i can buy that locally if i really want to..However there is no substitute for rolling scenery and roads that go on forever..
..And then i enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the fest..A time to chill and look at lots of fine wedges that have been lovingly looked after albeit original or personalised...Then the BNG which was different again with a real mix of some fine examples of TVR's from classic to un-affordable TVR bliss..(For me anyway)..Then i like the classic car shows that have a wonderful collection of cars that i remember seeing most of the time when i was a kid..Also the variety of these events extend to the people that attend them which is what makes the event's more enjoyable as without them it wouldnt happen..So lets enjoy these events for what they are and not what they should or could be..Like i said to my mates missus the other day.."You scratch my back and we both get in trouble"..
..Seriously though..Lets just enjoy our time as we are all in it together..

Well this has been a very interesting post regarding a Dummy run for the Rusty Nail Run in Sept, some comments from [lotus]non TVR chaps that were interesting who are non biased to any of the event's, so next time i run an event it's going to be a Mystery Tour you'll be told when it's going to start and that's it, no posts, nothing, lol. or if that doesnt work it will be a Blue Rinse tour where you'll have to wear diapers because you cant hold it in for 3 hrs as well as dribbling down the windows watching the Tvr's drive by.
TVRIK, the guy's on the Wedge forum are very good with giving advice on your car and place's to contact for spares, so dont be put off by this post.
So if the BBWF is held in North Wales next year you would probably go to it, just keep looking at the Events and posts Rik.
Regards Jonny.

A wee Rustie, collected the wee rustie from Heathrow Saturday, lovely drive from Aberdeen to Heathrow at night, warm, stars out and the V8 burble, then Saturday picked up the wee rustie and on to grandma's, waved to a red wedge on the M25, thought it may have been Mrzigazaga !!! but now covered over 650 glorious miles. Boys road trip back to Scotland when we get back from our hols, then before we know it the RNR, missing the BBWF but hopefully the sun will shine for all the wedgers.
