Heritage Oil looks interesting to me, but I am obviously missing something.

They have lost 35% of their value in the past 10 days or so, based on pretty much nothing if my understanding of their current arbitration process is correct.
So presumably that will correct itself at some stage?
None of my share logic ever works out to be correct though, so regardless of the thread title take this as a warning rather than a tip
Welcome to the AIM lottery.

To be fair, Heritage Oil are a FTSE 250 company.

blindswelledrat- the whole sector is in a sell-off at the moment. So that sentiment combined with the fear surrounding the arbitration process make for an ongoing fall in the share price. There is no incentive to buy. Also, they are at risk of being demoted from the FTSE 250 in the June reshuffle.

You are correct, though. At some point their share price is likely to correct against the downward trend. The chart suggests 121p as a minimum to the downside in this movement, potentially as low as 79p. For fun, it could go to 121p, then correct to 155p, then down to sub 90p. But there are too many variables for me to write a serious and followable potential scenario.

Just a bit of info, Rolls Royce Holdings shares have doubled in value in the two years I have had them. Not a bad return just wish I'd bought more at the time.

Too late.

I have been dry-reamed and my stop loss was triggered earlier today.

Fortunately being offset by my spread in Esure, although might cash in on that given the falls in the past 3 days.

What do you guys think to GKP now? I've been a long term investor (3 years) and have watched the fall down to 130p and was about to buy more but chickened out, wish I had now. Will this quickly rise back up to £2?I can't see how this share couldnt be anything but £10 in the very long term with the reserves it has?

Quiet in here of late.

Not sure who tipped BDEV but it's flying. I'm up 17.5%.

PVR slow but steady, 5.3% up

Highlights of my small portfolio FLTR and GNC, 14.5% and 15.5% respectively

CHW turned into a stinker but it's coming back.

Small loss on CEO but I still like it so it's staying.

DIA back in my good books.

Still big hopes for COOL.

BLVN, bounce today thank fk.

Yes, cracking finish.

Perhaps the more enlightened could explain.

Deutsche Bank reiterated their buy assessment on Barret today with a target of 327p. Current SP is 346p. confused

The court case is key, outcome must be close now.

It seems last weeks rise is due to the litigation firm doing the leal fighting for a share has wound up.

Dont take this as advice but i topped up at 1.33 the other week, and am selling some shares tomorrow to clear funds to add again.

ahhh yes, THAT court case! what a shambles its all been, should it go GKP's way I'm thinking there will be a mad rush upwards as was seen when it hit £4 not long back. I invested in AIM Back in 2011 with about £10k and have been trapped in ever since in the usual suspects, BPC, Ortac, Berkely Minerals, etc etc.... Just hoping in a few years they will come good once the doom and gloom has gone.

In the meantime I'm tempted to chuck in £500 to GKP for a few months and see what happens (£500 is a fair amount to me)
