When you sprint, it's generally in a straight ish line. Very little deviation.

Basically, get stuck in! Ill be on from about 1900.

Had a quick bash and it seems fun and reasonably easy to pick up - I've got a reasonably healthy KDR, which is more than I've ever had on BF3!

I see what people say about snipers, very hard to spot, but people still seem to take the obvious approaches to objectives and take up the obvious sniper spots, so even if you wouldn't normally see them, you can second guess where they'll be a lot of the time.

Doesn't seem to be as much variation between different weapon types as on BF3 - seems LMGs are just as useful on run and gun as assault rifles?

The vegetation and scenery is huge thought, much denser than on BF3.

Now have 4 hours on BC2 and am starting to get into it - Recon is a much more appealing class as I like a good snipe, but I keep forgetting I've got C4 every time I see a tank!

I agree with others in that some ways it's better than BF3. In fact, if it had the graphics and smoothness of play that BF3 has, then it would be a much better game than BF3.

Cannot fly a helicopter for toffee though! Took off in one, spent a couple minutes flying backwards whilst trying to turn it around then eventually gave up and bailed. Don't think I'll be trying that again for a while!

Have you managed to bring down an entire building using your C4 yet? One of the main things I really miss about BC2, I really don't know who thought it was a good idea to have LESS destruction on BF3??

Yep thats who I have too with Guvernator, UnrealJam, and Miniman as possibles. Anyone else? I know its a late one but unless its a draw will only be 2 maps so should be over quickly.

Have you managed to bring down an entire building using your C4 yet? One of the main things I really miss about BC2, I really don't know who thought it was a good idea to have LESS destruction on BF3??

It's great isn't it! I love using the UAV to down AH/SH The ability to call in mortars as sniper is epic too imo, can really help out in amongst the thick of it! The AH are somewhat a black art imo, i never managed to properly fly one, and recent attempts have failed epically

Haven't tried yet, will give it a go once I can get it to recognise my account again - for some reason it has stopped letting me sign in?

You can bring down entire buildings in BF3 - it just takes a hell of a hammering to do it and it's only select buildings.

I've had issues with battle log and sign in all day.

Rules: No C4/Claymores/mortars + the map will be set on Infantry mode so no tank I presume and possibly no Littlebird - any vehicles that do exist you can use to their full potential.
