The official 2013 warm sunshine and BBQ thread

That's a long, long way out! However, it looks like things will have settled down by then with the Azores High moving in to give us a longer spell of dry, warm weather during early June. At this stage, I would go for 75:25 that it'll be pretty dry and sunny in both locations around then.

Cheers I won't hold you to that just yet, it was more as a reminder to myself as well
do I ask how the Rayburn is?
Bump it again around the 10th June & we'll be able to get pretty accurate.
Having conked out again last week and costing me another £270, the Rayburn is back working again (just when it's warm enough not to need the heating on!). How long it'll remain working is a mystery, but I wouldn't be putting money on us having heating, hot water or cooking all the way through this winter - sodding thing!

Oh dear. I predict it will work flawlessly now for the next 6 months, conking out mid November

Nothing in the forecast (SE) in the next 8 days which exceeds 20c. For mid/end May, that is bloody pathetic.
I can only remember one or two days this year over the 20c mark.
With the length of time temperatures have 'felt' to be way under average, I'd expected more stories about this online (obviously the Daily Wail 'Bank Holiday washout' headlines excluded)

k off thunderstorm rolling in at the moment. Thundering, and you can feel the bugger through the floor.
