Only the Comet 1 had Ghosts. And there are no working examples of the Comet 1 in existence.

May actually be able to get to this one - As per the link below, if they open at 9 & start taxiing at 11 - How long does the aircraft movement go on for?

Only the 1s had square windows (although technically speaking, they weren't really square).

Wonderful, I love the Comet and my Wife's Grandfather gave me some momentoes from his time at De Havilland which I posted on here some time ago:-

Will have to go and have a look at some point although I can't make this event.

I see that the museum is normally open on Sundays, does anyone know whether it is still accessible on this event?

I would hope it is but don't know for sure. The good news is the weather forecast says 0% chance of rain on Sunday (it will more than likely snow instead).

I plan on bringing the kids down and am quite excited by the prospect of seeing an EE Lightening doing a high speed run or two.

Half the aircraft will be running up and down the runway and the rest are available to poke around so yes. There isn't a museum as such, the aircraft are the museum. Definitely worth a trip regardless.

Going tomorrow is about the best thing you can do with the aircraft at Brunters. We've gone every year for the last four!

What a way to arrive beats waiting an hour to do the last mile. Hope yours wasnt one of the many light aircraft a bit close to the taxiway that they didnt want the Nimrod/Commet/Victor etc to blow over.

I saw the queues on the way in and happy that we chose to fly and the weather was stunning. Yes I was the last one to be called over as they were worried the jet wash from the Victor might damage the aircraft. Was cool leaving as we had to depart from the taxiway.
