Bart sorry to hear you are V.O.R. In Poland, I must stop doing the wot in second gear past your house if you are not there. Hope you get it all back together soon.

Hey Paul,
Thanks, but don't stop the WOT, my next door cabbie neighbour loves the V8 experience in his hood, so at least cover for me whilst I'm away Parts are due in Friday or Monday so not long to go, just such a shame I couldn't make it to the show...

As above mine went in a big way, slave exploded shattering the bell housing a week before Lemans 2012

Good excuse to fit the LS7 while the clutch was shot and a new bell housing fitted.

Seems we both shared circumstances.

Mine went 300miles from reaching the motor show I was supposed to be showcasing mine on...

I had already had LS7 so went for a new one just in case the old one could be contaminated. As I didn't have to replace the flywheel the actual clutch assy worked out a better deal than a bloody slave!

Just reading up on some upgraded AP slave available being supposedely more heavy duty.

Someone also said on there that they find the standard one last longer if they are first gravity bled, then bled normally. Any ideas what they mean?

Actual slave looks intact, albeit damaged. the problem there looks to be that the release bearing has disappeared, so possibly exploded.

How bloody annoying! All parts arrived cool it's just it turns out that my old clutch is a bloody LS2 stock OEM shyte! That's although VX customer service reckon it's LS7. So, now I need an LS7 flywheel... Brilliant VX...

Had been advised that by a Vauxhall dealer that had sone a warranty clain on the clutch. Moreover, Vx customer care confirmed that.

Vauxhall would never fit an uprated or non factory part on any warranty work. At least I'd be amazed if they did.

LS7 parts were never fitted to a Vauxhall, so the dealer probably couldnt even get the parts from Vauxhall.

I don't hold one, but if you need more info best speak to MF. I also think one of the guys on the forum had a copy somewhere.
