I've done something similar a few weeks ago, but not on double white lines.

Started the overtake and something came into view.

Why do assholes think they have to plant the acclerator and squeeze through? I hit the brake and dropped back in line behind the car i was overtaking.

I didnt bother trying again though, even when i had chance.

I thought this was going to refer to the drug-dealer pimped white (with very dark tinted glass) Merc C class coupe that passed me at 60 MPH in a 30 MPH residential area last night.

I don't suppose you care about driving or cars enough to be on this forum (no doubt mooching around crack-dealers.co.uk), but if by some chance you are, you're a moron...

True - he started before he should've, and maybe would have had a better view if he'd waited.

Hard to tell but I think its the video car that slows anticipating a massive accident that gives the impression the overtakee accelerated.

Maybe everyone who comments on it being a typical Audi driver should post their own car brands and I will post links from you tube on erratic driving.
EVERY brand under the sun has drivers driving like this.

That video shows a driver with no sense - too close to the car in front, clearly wants to get through, overtakes on a solid line and most likely speeding.
The fact he is in an Audi means nothing
