Yep, got it in one. tend to do a route around there from Somerton, glastonbury etc. Have to admit I have often had the idea of stopping for a quick pint on the way past. beer

Where is that? I live right next to Dibden Enclosure and it looks familiar.

OS Map says Cranes Moor, West of Burley. Track goes from Pound lane to the Crow Road, good trail now it's dried up a bit

I'll have to check it out. Did some good stuff out near Longdown on Sunday, worth a look if you are around the area

A pic of a recent ride when my saddle broke!
It just meant that I headed off toward the downhill / jumps section until I fell off!

Well reminded, Johnny.

Here are some I took last week with a view to posting on this thread, before I had 'memory card' issues. Solved now, so here you go...

Hawley Lake at day's end (16th May)

Swans on Fleet Pond later the same evening (16th May)

Later the same week (18th May), I went out a little earlier in the afternoon, and took these...

Sudden drop? Yup, in my fitness as a result of 6 months off the bike
Soft bottom? I didn't realise things had got so bad that H&S were worried about my wobbly fat ass wink

Probably better on the 'pictures of my bike' thread, but here's the redoubtable GT Avalanche 3.0 on the edge of Minley Training Area.

This just caught my eye as I tracked East along the edge of Hawley Training Area, parallel with the A30.
It's probably why they have these...

...up at most of the public access points around the Training Area. Be careful out there rolleyes

Good spin this morning - 76km around the hills just north of Sydney. Misty at the top, but nice clear view from West Head of Palm Beach across Pittwater. Stopped for coffee at Narrabeen on the way back and watch the surfers tackling some reasonable waves - I reckon several had a face of around 4m...

You can just see in the photo below that two surfers have caught the same waves, one as a left-hander and one as a right. We were watching for around 20mins and in that time three surfers came up from the beach carrying broken boards.

I did 26 miles yesterday morning and I only saw a road to cross over to more woods. I did some local natural trails which were great fun, except for the 3 punctures caused by thorns - none for months then 3 in one ride! mad

The view from Whiteleaf Cross, Princes Risborough yesterday morning was stunning - I don't think I have ever seen it so clear with no haze at all:

Spotted this on our relaxed Bank Holiday jaunt this morning:

Was still smoldering! Wasn't sure if local plod would be aware so gave them a quick call on the non-emergency number.

Torched cars aside, it's a lovely morning for a ride.

That was my first thought when I saw it! Certainly a Metro/100 of some description.

Do you have a grid reference/map link for this spot? I live just outside Thruxton but don't recognise this spot.
