Fantastic stuff, I love the colours and the burst of violence and movement in an otherwise calm shot.

Blukoo - you've really stepped your game up recently. Those last few shots are incredible! Massive improvement compared to your older stuff - I hope you don't mind me saying that smile
Agreed!

I need a similar (although sadly at a much lower level)breakthrough...!

Nice colours but from a composition point of view it goes without saying it would be 100x better if the top of the obelisk wanted cut off.

smile
Fair point, but I was looking more at the erosion of the stone on the bottom than the full needle.

With todays stunning weather (after snow and near freezing temperatures yesterday), it would have been rude not to have taken a photo of our chariot for this years May trip to the highlands and islands...

One of the hills at Glencoe with the help of the sky/clouds was impersonating a steaming hot poo yesterday on the drive down from Skye yesterday...

There are some truly amazing shots over the last few pages, too many to mention them all.

I managed to borrow a 100mm f2.8 off a mate this week and managed to meet some creepy crawlies this morning. Its a tricky lens to use but makes the shots all that more rewarding. Here's my first crack anyway.
