Oh yes, forgot that...yes they do..and the 5 series too.
I actually think they would be able to sell a bit of those longbase 3's here in Europe, no?

Although the new 3 (F30) has fairly grown to give rear passengers better legroom.

I think some of us forget just how young michael243 is. I don't think he is even 18 so whilst no 'special treatment' is required, lets encourage him as he may not have the confidence many of us do.
This. There's a few posts where people are having a dig at him and it's fairly obvious to me that he's a kid who has a passion for cars.(no offence, Michael)

I enjoy his posts and seeing how his photography is improving all the time. I also appreciate the fact that he steers clear of all the bickering and just gets on with posting photos of cars which is what I come here to see, not a bunch of "grown men" arguing over whether a Peugeot 106 rallye should be posted in this thread or not.

Keep up the good work Michael.

Thanks, that was nice to read, I really do think my photos have improved over time and as its getting closer to "Summer" they will have better content also, there is no point in arguing when all I am here to do is post photos of the cars I have seen. smile It replies like this that makes the cost of traveling, time to get there and having to get up at 5.30am all worth it as it shows me that people like them and appreciate them smile

Anyone know what this is? Badge said 'Owen' but I couldn't find any info online.

It's a Jaguar special called the Freddie Owen Special (1 of 2). It started life as a convertible but has had a hard top fitted.
It was built in or around 1959 by Freddie Owen himself and it uses a 3.4-litre engine from an XK140 plus E-type rear suspension and it was restored by Lynx in the mid-Eighties.

Went to a lecture last night about the 'Dam Buster' raids in Howden, East Yorkshire. This DB4 was parked outside. It was nicely patinated and evidently well used. Lovely.

That's why I love PH. Thank you.

Looks great, if you can ignore the weirdly modified wing mirrors!

Here in China, they have so many cars, made purely for the Chinese market which I see hundreds of per day. That is the 'L' versions of the big cars. All long versions of the cars we get in Europe with very long back doors
You get the A8L here too. I shot a fleet of them in Aberdeen...

Ah, I didn't know that...are they used as chauffeur driven cars in UK though?. Here, they are produced, sold and used as a normal family saloon.
They are in the UK too. Anyone can walk into an Audi dealer and buy an A8L, or a LWB 7-series from BMW and so on.

At 18 surely he should be the most self assured, confident perso around I know I was at his age smile
Just because you were, doesn't mean other people are.

I think that is super cool, anyone can have an Impreza or Evo rally replica. Love it.
