Big front wings, lots of surface area and he didn't take off. Admittedly he was going pretty slow, but still... The only other recent-ish takeoff clips I could find involved hitting the back of someone else's car. Which is obviously cheating.

Actually it was neither but in fact Ronnie Peterson. Jackie Stewart was a good friend of George and appeared in the video
