In the single seater section, if there's one that's a bit noisier, older, slower and heavier than the rest and looks a bit out of place against more sprightly competition - that'll be me.

........same applies to the car **

  • Blue Reynard Vauxhall Lotus. Come and say Hello (unless it's raining/slippy in which case I've got a note from my Mum saying I'm excused games)

No exact timetable as there are a variety of variables ( availability of marshals, incidents, weather etc. etc.)

Saturday and Sunday are 2 sep. events.

Timed practice will probably start around 10(ish) and there's usually a 45-60 min break for lunch at about........lunchtime

Timed competition runs immediately after lunch break and the event is usually over by about 15.30 - 16.30 (ish)

Hope you can make it

Cheers - JP

Eric Kiltie, red Fisher Fury, no idea what his number is going to be, would be good to see a couple of pics.

I am stuck in West Africa so can't be there myself frown

If you see this tonight, I have a question about the petrol podger.

I'll post up a pic shortly.

Hope you get this in time.

The tape is what I was using, but that was for two runs - Neil and myself, play safe use that.

Afternoon! smile
Ive just noticed this is a 2 day event and the weather is meant to be decent tomorrow smile
I was just wandering what to expect of the event and entry fees as a spectator?
Was thinking about maybe popping along tomorrow seeing as Im off work and wouldn't mind a day of some fast cars biggrin
Heard of this event throughout the past couple years and only just realized its on my doorstep! Haha
Would love to see what its all about smile

Probably around a fiver to get in, takes you directly into the paddock area where you can chat with the friendly competitors before going to the trackside.

Excellent value for money, particularly if the weather is looking good.

Usually practice from around 09.30.
Two practice runs which lasts to around 12.00
Lunch until 13.00-13.00
Two timed runs in the afternoon finishing around 16.00-17.00 dependent on the behaviour of the competitors, if too many explore the foliage it finishes later.

Definitely worth a visit particularly if the weather is looking good. I can't be there as I am working, but my car is there, No65, drop by and say hello to Eric.

It's excellent value for money - a whole day out in the sun, watching fast cars being pushed to their limits, and a very friendly paddock full of drivers who are very happy to talk about their cars (and anything else). Pity I could only stay for an hour today, but even then it was still good value for money. Some parts of the infield are still a bit on the wet/boggy side, so I'd recommend suitable footwear.

I did take a few photos, but only uploaded to FB so far: https://www.facebook.com/notifications?id=24887841...
