Your feelings towards me are mutual.
That is a very scary post. Everything you wanted despite the consequences wow, You sound mentally ill to me. Glad the book is helping.

Meanwhile the religion of peace has blown up a bus of female students then attacked the hospital where they were taken. Funny how they keep getting the wrong messages from that book of yours.

No doubt there will be many who will defend those actions.

I can't imagine that such a person exists in all honesty, do you?
Yes, I've come across quite a few people who seem to have a lot to say regarding the subject but have never actually opened the book themselves.
I have a confession that I would like to maker public regarding the modern day Prophet, David Icke (Peace Be Upon Him): I have never read any of the Hadiths that he publishes so regularly, and are avidly read and believed by his many disciples across the planet.

However, this does not stop me from forming a valid opinion of what he writes in his Hadiths. He is full of st. You know it, I know it.

Do you get where I am coming from?

Well said. And pretty brave given the thread. You sound like a decent guy.

The problem is that along with the good lessons are some less nice ones, and 'believers' are free to choose the ones that suit their desires. The Bible is the same(*), don't get me wrong. The difference is that Islam is currently where Christianity was a thousand years ago. Many of us don't want that back.

However, reading a translation is a pretty shocking awakening and doesn't match the 'religion of peace' nonsense we get from CameronCleggJohnson et al.

I urge all non-Muslims to read it.
I haven't seen anyone outside PH call it the religion of peace, anyone know where the RoP nonsense started?

Anyway, this doesn't have anything much to do with the topic in question, unless anyone can show me the bit in the Koran where it says "Ply the daughters of thine enemy with drink and drugs and rape them, for this is not adultery. Oh, it's ok if you have some booze too."

Im sure he is.

But his post above sounds to me like he is brain washed. Without his rligion he would go off the rais regardless of the consequences, this makes me wonder what his true feelings are towards the kafir, kuffar ive seen various spellings if thats what he thinks he would be like what does he think of the rest of us who dont belive in his made up sky daddy?
Nobody else think that post is odd?

Ps why is he brave ? Ph is a good place to converse with people of different opinions.

Hi bill im not sure but it has been used widely for a while not just on here. I believe it stems from muslim spokespeople saying after things like 9/11 etc etc its nothing o do with islam because islam is the religion of peace.
Which it is of course its just a few get the message wrong.

Thank you.

The point I'm trying to make is, even if I died and there wasn't a God (which I thoroughly believe there is) I'd be happy with the way this religion encouraged me to live my life smile

I respect everyone's beliefs, whether you're Atheist, Christian or whatever, its your life, live it how you want. (This is also something encouraged by Islam)

There was a time for me, when I started asking questions and looking for answers. Fortunately I didn't have to look far to find them smile

As for the rape gang, purely cultural issue.

Brainwashed rofl My 'true feelings' towards the kuffar (kuffar is the plural of kafir, basically means disbeliever) are mentioned in my post above.

You are entitled to believe what you want, I have plenty of Atheist/Christian or whatever peers/friends and no we don't spend the whole time debating religion and telling each other who is right or wrong. Also, regarding what I think of people who believe there is no God;

It is perfectly natural to me to be honest and do what is right. I don't need an imaginary friend to understand this.
I admire your honesty and self control. If only the rest of humanity had that frame of mind too.

What has your religion stopped you from doing exactly ? Your post makes it sound like you feel the need within you to do something, but are held back, plus it sounds like you are sure without it, its almost automatic you would be doing these things, whatever they are.

I believe that everyone should try and be the best person they can possibly be, regardless of race or religion, and what God wants to do, He will do.

The M3 ( indeed the one in the profile pic ) is a big pile of parts, a complete bare and slightly rusty shell with not a nut and bolt on it. Been like that for a few years now but will hopefully start doing something this year.
If I ever felt I've sinned in some way to a higher power, then letting the M3 sit and rust is the only thing I feel guilty about hehe

Smiler.

Interesting point.

Not a loaded question, but what is your opinion of the way certain others (albeit perhaps a minority) appear to be encouraged to live their life because of said religion?

I'm assuming you're talking extremists/terrorists/'jihadists'?

In my opinion, they are the lowest of the low.

Not only do they degrade my religion in the view of others, but they believe they're part of it at the same time. There is no reason why they should be doing what they're doing, and quite frankly, it pisses me off, because Muslims like me, and in fact, every other Muslim I know (I know many), get tarnished with the same brush. There is absolutely no justification for the killing of innocent people in Islam whatsoever.

When horrific acts like this are committed, people need to understand that every citizen of this country suffers and is affected by it, and that includes Muslims.
