I took these out for a spin earlier, now the BMW has me thinking...

One is a hot hatch and the other is a rep mobile. Go for the Golf, you know it make sense 2007 BMW 325i M-Sport Auto Coupé

Everything says BMW, but the noise and the get-up-and-go says Golf. When it arrives at the localism dealer, I'll be off to see a 2010 Mazda3 MPS, for the same price I get more toys, and a 3yrs newer car with half the milage and a manufacturers warranty... Hmmmm.
Disappointed by the £3,500 PX offer on my fairly immaculate, low-milage 207 though...

Shame it's not an M-Sport, but this would do very nicely... Wish it were a bit newer.

I'd take the SE over the M Sport myself, don't really need the bling that comes with the latter. I'd instead try and find one with iDrive as that really improves the interior of the E92 IMO.2007 BMW 335i SE Auto Coupe

On the Golf R32 front a nice run-out 2008 car with lots of toys would be a pretty tempting buy if you can afford the running costs.
Not sure on the Mazda as I don't really know all that much about them.
Not looking at any Audis? The A5 is comfortably down to that price level now and they are quite a lot more modern than the E92 3er and MK5 Golf. That's what makes the difference between a good or a low PX price a few years down the line when you next change in my experience

This might be my next car, when funds permit.
It won't set the hearts of everyone on fire but it's got more poke than my current steed, won't cost the earth to run and unlike the Civic Type R I contemplated, it has five doors- thus keeping Blearyeyedgirl happy too. What's not to like? (I don't have to look at that grille while driving it!)

I'd like something with a mechanical LSD but I imagine it'll be a cold day in hell before Renaultsport release a 5 door Megane 265, and the next generation one will likely lack a manual shift looking at how they're trying to sell the new Clio RS. Maybe I'll like the new Octavia vRS, but I'm worried it's getting a bit too big to be called a Hot Hatch, if it isn't already!

Can't find any Approved Used A5s for £12k with sub 45k on within 200mi... I think the same of the iDrive, but it bumps the price and I can live without it really. It's got everything else I want. A Subaru Impreza 22B

And this Audi Sport Quattro

I've always fancied a 22B, driven two, and both have been superb, as for the sport, driven one OEM and a couple of reps and they are 'different'. but equally enthralling; this particular Swiss import car has been discussed in depth on some Audi forums and some issues v price discrepancies noted....
And this Audi Sport Quattro

Fast, comfortable, spacious and makes a good sound, what's not to like? If I won the lottery, this would be my family car.

I keep looking at p38 Range Rovers with the 4 litre v8..
I have always loved them
It started when i decided i want a discovery, as i was flicking through autotrader/ebay i noticed the P38 were only a few hundred more.
In currently saving up for something special, but that wont be until after xmas
until then im getting sonething cheap and reliable.. step forth the P38.. oh wait, something not quite right there....

lovely car though
