Just a couple of recent updates, got a very good deal on a pair of partly re-trimmed Jcw (Sparco) seats, even sold my old one's for £50 less than the new one's cost laugh

Also finally got round to fitting the carbon headlight rings I bought before xmas

Been mega busy at work recently so no track action so far this year banghead, will definately still be trying to break the 15 second barrier the next rwyb at the Pod I can attend also plan on going back to Brands & will have a play with settings on the Meisters.

For a 9 year old motor it still brushes up quite well smile

Lovely Mini this one.

A colleague bought a 4 year old Clubman Cooper S this week, and I'm surprised how good it is. I'm tempted to get one myself and get tuning and tarting up.

Cheers guys, appreciate your kind comments smile,

I won't be selling it anytime soon, even after 6.5 years of ownership I still get a real buzz from driving it;).

I'm not a fan of wrapping to be honest, I love the Electric Blue colour & still like spending many many an hour polishing it within an inch of it's life tongue out, Satin black would definately look different though, funnily enough the guy I bought the new seats from is planning to get his Leccy Blue car painted satin Electric Blue, waiting to see the outcome of that.

I like the Clubman too & my next MINI will be a Laser Blue Clubbie S with quite a few mods planned for it. If I can get it to look half as good as this one from Holland I'll be happy.

Loving that clubman.
I hated the Mini when it first came out but have warmed to them and your car is a beauty.

Couple of updates, bought a second hand Hayward & Scott (one ball) exhaust recently, the owner (Andy Sixspeed) was putting his car back to standard for selling, so a swap for my Milltek + cash his way & I'm pretty sure the only H&S exhaust made for a MINI was finally minebiggrin.

A pair of M7 rear grilles have been fitted as well, at the same time the old girl stretched her legs on the dyno at 1320MINI, ran a respectable 189 whp.

Close up of the grilles

Exhaust fills the gap in the rear bumper nicely tongue out

Great looking car, love the carbon details smile

My dad owns a JCW model, love the whine the supercharger makes, be interesting to hear what your new exhaust sounds like thumbup

Got a track day booked at Brands on the 3rd July & wasn't too sure on thier rules regarding filming?? Saw one of these little jobs advertised on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261035607800?ssPageName=... thought I'd give it a go.

Got delivered today & it's tiny...

Gave it a test run this afternoon, velcroed to the back bumper then inside on the dash, for the money it worked really well. I thought I'd turned the recording off but apparently not, it's 24 mins!! I need to learn how to edit & use it properly laugh

Haven't updated the thread for a while, changed a few bits on the car...

M7 grilles on the front, larger bonnet scoop, more air keeping the intercooler...cooler, scuttle vent over where the cold air induction kit sits, keeping that a bit cooler too. Also fitted a set of Rotiform NUE wheels, had them refurbed & painted in Lambo Grey too.

Don't know if its the new wheels or just the colour but they've ruined what was in my opinion one of the only minis I'd consider owning (my dislike for minis is immense)
