Has the F40 been on the UK series yet? I thought I'd read it was the first episode of series 2, but I'm sure I haven't missed any and I definitely haven't seen it yet??

Like the nut trick to get the sheared stud out. I'd be straight in with drill and helicoil.

Still love this programme, I think I could watch an hour of Aaron (whose the star of the show for me) Richard and Sue arguing over money, I like the way she often refers to Richard as 'Monkey'.

Yeah, they're great characters. Not having to just shout at each other all the time like most of these daft shows.
Like that ridiculous bike club show afterwards, really!? Grow up you tits.

The Parody of OCC they did was priceless!

The scripted drama of these things drives me mad, the current series of Gold Rush is full of it, 3 episodes in and they haven't actually mined any gold yet, they've just been fighting each other and making the most facepalmworthy mistakes.

Sue is funny, I saw one clip where they walked in to see her and asked what was for lunch "Monkey soup" she replied hehe

The ttting about in Vegas was just a waste of screen time, maybe it had been quiet so they needed something to fill time with.

I like how he says he's got no money but has $40k in cash hanging around to buy the 'vette, $10k for the bubble car thing and paying 2 lots of rent at the same time.

I wondered where the money was in the 'vette, if the engine cost $5500 he spent the same on shocks, fuel tank and brake change.

Give its condition I reckon he got fair money for it.

They buy the F40 in the final episode (7th) of season 2. Season 3 has just started in the US and the 1st episode is available on youtube. It is mostly about the rebuilding of the F40.

Just finished the latest episode!

Thought the F40 looked great but the seats looked a bit low-rent!

I did think the new owner of the car was a bit of a foregone conclusion though!

So the F40 chassis was within 1mm of Spec. But the engine mount needed to be moved?!

How did they think it was a good idea to move the engine mount? I'm guessing the engine's no longer square to the drive shafts, and going to ruin the diff or cv joints.

thought that too about the engine mount . i thought it wss quite scary when they had it on the jig . people just standing round with trainers on and no safety gear .

That little 911 sounded sweet. A bargain for who bought it.

F40.... Will it be as desirable as if they put it back to as original as possible? I don't think so.

I wondered that.. and it wasn't moved a little bit.
All I can assume is that they the mount on the engine side had broke, and then ordered a new one that was off a later model or euro spec and the mount (on the engine) was in a different place. Lots of that engine/gb looked new.. With the dmg I would expect they would need loads and loads of stuff we were not privy too.
