Got to be a wagon!

Since the RS2, I think proper German performance cars are cooler as wagons.... smile

Coupe but I am also biased. Mine's Obsidian Black and I have a colleague who has one in Magnetite Black. Both look lovely but mine's "blacker". My last car was Fire Opal Red (C250 Coupe) and I really liked that in the metal, ecain63's looks very nice indeed especially with the carbon bits. Someone else at work has a silverish one (could be Palladium Silver, I've not asked) and I think it looks pretty anonymous and just like every other C on the road so I'd avoid that.

Graham - what type of white is that on your BS?

I have ordered Polar White on my 507 - there is a video on youtube of a black 507 that looks quite mean but black really looks best when clean, whereas white looks good all the time..

It's diamond white metallic; which isn't available on the 507 for some reason. I really like the Polar White, it's very bright compared to what MB have produced in the past.

I think all 3 styles have their own strengths and weaknesses, and I found when I was deciding it could change 10 times a day. In the end I just went around some of the bigger dealerships who had various examples of all 3 body types in various colour/wheel/trim combination.
It really helped and allowed me to focus on what I didn't really want or need and eventually was able to formulate the overall car exactly as I wanted it.
Picked up my coupe last week and am totally in love with the sound, handling and looks, both inside and out.
Ultimately they are all gorgeous and it's just down to personal preferences and needs. In the end it was the pan roof, only available on the coupe that did it for me.
I know it's a cliche but with the CF trim inside and out, illuminated AMG sills and black/porcelain trim, it looks perfect IMHO. The colour, only colour you have to pay extra for frown reminds me of the pearlescent white Audi did on the UR Quatro in the late 80's which I still have memories of, and wishing I could have afforded it then.
Picture is rubbish but too busy driving it ATM.
Anyone thinking of getting any of the body styles just needs to make that decision and get one...you will not regret it!

Oops, I have a flying car! Ha.
Should have previewed before posting my first pic.
Help anyone able to tell me why I own an upside down car! Can't seem to rotate it, any help appreciated.

I got an update that my 507 should be here mid August - build middle of July. I didn't actually need to take delivery until end of September but I don't think I trust leaving it sitting in a dealership for 4-6 weeks, I'll probably take it 1st September.

Getting excited now.

Has anyone seen the 'go faster stripes' on the 507? thoughts? bit chav?
