Do Mercedes do a generic AMG badged kit?

The reason I ask is that a girl at work stated yesterday that she was getting a C class AMG. From this I assumed the c63 AMG, however speaking to her today and its only a 2 litre diesel, so clearly not the C63, but she insists it has AMG badges/equipment

Don't Brabus do the same? Take your big standard diesel C Class along and have some branded extras fitted.

The Jaguar X-Type Supercharged Racing Edition Quattro Hybrid in Ferrari Red.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111094871620?_trksid=p51...

One potential buyer was obviously intrigued as to what lie under the bonnet. The sellers response? "3 litres R racing edition supercharged"

I will fire him over a question and ask where in the engine bay I can find the supercharger...

ETA: Just noticed that he has listed it as a 'New Item'. not bad going for 97k miles...

Boss I had in the late 80's insisted we all support British car industry and the only cars we could have were Vausxhalls. Astras or Cavalaiers or Carltons. Being the boss he had an Opel Senator and had all the badges taken off and replaced with Vauxhall ones. Cost a fortune to change the one on the steering wheel but he made the Vauxhall dealer at Henleys corner on the North Circ change it or they'd lose the contract to Ford. They dug their heeels in when he said he wanted the rocker cover changed, all they did was put a Vauxhall logo sticker on.

There is an old Hyundai coupe round these parts with BMW badges on it. Truly horrific it is.

Sorry yes, I should have said you can't see the exhaust but you couldn't anyway! Madness, no idea why people do it.

E55 badge isn't even on straight. Anyone who would be impressed by an AMG Merc would know immediately that it wasn't one.

Some years back I had a mk2 cavalier 1.8 Sri C Reg.

Some Norwegian posted a request on the owners club website, for a complete set of badges, swapped for the equivalent Opel Ascona 1.8 GT Badges, including the steering wheel horn cover.

For the cost of the postage I ended up with a mis-badged car. It confused my family why I bothered, but I think it's because I think GM should dump the Vauxhall badge entirely.
