You know it's impressive when the bike could feasibly be stationary and resting on the rider....

Thats an aftermarket bolt on more useful than most!

Good luck on Thursday George.
Thanks. Just got some new ASV unbreakable levers so I can adjust the clutch lever inwards more than the standard ones, and hopefully use my 2 ok fingers smile

Thats lovely...what garage is this ?
http://www.autofficina.co.uk in Chessington just off the A3

I think it might belong to the head mechanic Elias, but never asked. He did tell tales of hooligan-ness on 2 wheels during his younger years in Cyprus though hence the thinking

Is it due a trip on the road then?

My mate used to ride his (2000YR) R1 racebike on the road, with his old 888 Ducati number plate on, I think it had insurance but nowt else leagl, the rear "light" was 2 circular reflectors, from a few paces away they did look like standard R1 tail/brake lights!

It is, I will have to soften everything right off, it's just about unridable on anything but duel carriageways.

On the plus side it wheelies like a goodun.

Looking good John, do like your trackbike! Followed a big bang R1 today though, wow, what a noise. Looked so unbelievably effortless too.

You'll get another mate, I felt the same when i wrote off my bike a few years back...and remember how much Mr OCD missed his R1 a short while ago, at the time these things feel irreplaceable...but there not, we get a new model(be it the bike or a girlfriend...) and the old one becomes history, a fond ( or not so fond!) memory.

At least your here to post the pics and tell the tale..
