Nice one, thats what happened to me after a few beers last week. Strange how things get bought by accident!!

I'm looking for an orange strap too. There are some really good ones around, dozens of different designs, just do a google search and see what appeals. Personally I really like the look of the Hirsch "Carbon" (leather), and the "Extreme" (rubber) in orange - does anyone know if a 22mm wide leather strap could be cut down 1mm each side to fit without causing any damage?
Did you find a good orange rubber strap?
Erm, no not yet. I'm wearing the watch still on it's metal bracelet. I have a tendency to procrastinate about things for a very long time. Which is what I'm doing at the moment. I will get something sooner or later though. Probably look for a thick leather strap rather than rubber though.

Put mine on a new NATO this week, thought I'd put a pic up. Think it suits quite well

That's awful. Did you lose your fingers in a blender? :-)

Popped this on another threat a week or so back as I hadn't seen the Monster specific one so apologies for some if its a repeat but my night monster arrived a couple of weeks ago to keep my black and orange monsters company!

I used to love the 'purple' night monster, until I saw and fell in love with the new actual purple night monster.

Id still take a red, though.

Very subjective I know but I don't like the toothy look of the new monster, but the purple (technically red) night monster does it for me !

BTTT as I've just ordered an orange monster from creation, and I saved 4% using a code I saw a couple of pages back :-)

Not sure I can resist any more, and having tried a colleagues orange one its not too bad on my skinny wrists.
Anyone else have one of these? How does current price look?

I left my planet ocean at work the other day. Having not taken it off since i bought it i felt lost without a watch on so i dug out my old monster. I'd forgotten just how nice it is to wear.

Anyone help - I'm after a monster and have looked on creation and amazon but I'm not sure about all the different types. I'm after an orange monster but there seem to be several types and I'm not entirely clear on the differences (apart from price!)

Creation has both the old model and new model listed.

The older model is an automatic only, the newer is an auto but can also be hand wound. The older model doesn't hack (ie the second hand can't be stopped for syncing when pulling the crown out), the newer model does hack. That's it mechanically, visually the the dials are slightly different and the newer model has a knurled crown as opposed to the ridged design of the older

As for which one is best? There's no correct answer for that, you pays your money and you takes your choice smile

I'd go for the old one, personally.

The new one has a more superior movement but just doesn't look as 'right' as the old ones did (IMO)

^^ So would I, but at £157 the newer model is still great value for what it represents and, aesthetics aside, the £30 premium isn't much if you value hacking and hand winding.
