First, I'd just like to thank everyone - after stumbling across the thread I purchased an Ego and haven't smoke a roll-up since the start of February smile

I have, however, started to suffer from leaks from the ce5 tanks. It seems to have started with the last lot of juice - 10mg cherry from vapingmatters. Prior to this I was using 18mg and didn't seem to have the same problems.

I don't think it can be the tank since all seem to leak from the thread where the element screws into the tank.

Could it be the juice is thinner and more searching? If so any suggestions how to solve the problem. I tried an evod but one tank leaked from new and the other one just didn't work for me, but any other tank suggestions are welcome.

Thanks for reading.

I've been using a mini nova tank for about 9 months now. Like this: http://www.vapeescape.co.uk/Vaping-Spares/Tanks--A...

I had a Smok Tech DCT tank before that. It was OK but would occasionally randomly eject all it's fluid.

Before that I had an EGO tank thing, but that would constantly be leaking fluid.

The mini nova has been perfect, no leakage at all. Needs a new atomiser about every week to 10 days for me, but otherwise completely reliable and very , very simple to refill... just unscrew the lid and drip in the top up.

Evening Aeth,

I don't vape myself but dad does, hes had a couple of CE4's (Older version of the 5 I believe) all of which have leaked and cracked at some point, however much to my surprise I cracked one of his tanks last night, because I poured in some near neat Cool Mint flavouring, some flavours and combinations are know to be "tank busters" as they react with the plastic or whatever the tank is made of and weaken / destroy it completely, they are normally known to be the more acidic ones, so I suppose it isnt unlikely that its the cherry juice that caused it.

However, this may not be the case with yours, yours may have just sprung a leak smile

Take a look on FastTech.com it is Chinese and stuff can take a couple of weeks but they are amazingly cheap and everything is free postage smile

I had a similar problem having always bought supplies from vapingmatters. The juice he supplied in the past was 80/20 pg/vg but it changed to 70/30 which is thinner. It creates more vapour but goes down faster and has a tendency to leak. A lot of alternative suppliers don't state what the pg/vg ratio is so you don't really know what you're getting.

There is now the option of either mix there

having never thought about getting a E-cig, and just smoking my usual of 15 fags a day, Im thinking about getting one.

can someone tell me about what I need at what website to get it from?

im guessing there are better websites to get from than the first few pages, but i dont have a clue.

just so you know, i smoke marlboro light's and like the taste, but would like to give up, as i have tryed a few of the cig looking types and they really did fk all.

if the e-cigs in this thread gives more of a cig effect i might be more inclined to try one, but dont really know of the best 'site to get them from.

im not looking for uber fancy or expensive type, just something to help me get off proper fags and eventually quit.

anyone?

Evod starter kit from vapeescape, plus liquid - if you like the taste of marlboro lights, I'd suggest ry4 at 12mg.

I ended up taking over thirty of those kits to the office in Zurich and everyone loved it. Ry4 is the liquid of choice for my missus, and she smoked lights before she quit...

Good luck!

I agree with Sway, however my personal suggestion would be an EVOD kit from FastTech : http://www.fasttech.com/products/1411/10004766/136...

£12.42 approx with free delivery and doubtful of any VAT or import duties as they gift them and they also sell liquid, so for £20 you'll have that kit, some spare coils (Buy separate from kit : http://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10004696/136150... and a good amount of liquid, and if you didn't get on with it you'll be able to sell that kit and get your money back at the very least, maybe even make a few quid!

It will however take about two weeks to arrive.

Edited to add:

I would recommend ordering this : http://www.vapingvision.co.uk/products/boge-electr... with a discount code of facebook10 for 10% off, if you like it then order from FastTech. 10ml of liquid should last about 7-10 days.

I'd agree. RY4 in 12mg is my regular vape coming from Marlboro lights. It'll take a while to get used to the flavours so don't dismiss anything your not too keen on initially. Your sense of taste will change as you give up the fags. American blend is good too but just experiment with different flavours to see what you like. Some of the fruit & chocolate flavours can be nice for a change as well.

Same goes for the vapourisers. You might need to experiment a little to see what suits you best. Lots of folks recommending the Evod just now, I'm not convinced but it's cheap enough to try a few styles & see what works best for you.

If I use 18mg on my DT for any length of time it fries me, I use <12 as a rule. I'd be climbing the walls at 30!

Can I remind everyone that - if the MHRA proposals go through, you wont be able to buy all these lovely eliquids after 2016. See below. (Sorry - I'll be doing this about once a month from now on)

Actually it's not - it's about the MHRA trying to protect the interests of the pharma companies and tobacco companies who are losing market share (especially the pharma companies). The proposals would hand the ecig industry to them on a plate and drive and the small players out of business. As the MHRA receives funding from pharma, the whole things is very close to corrupt in my view

Signed, and if necessary am ready to order a couple of litres of liquid for the freezer...

Just pulled the trigger on lots of new stuff:

Hero hybrid from Charlie's vape shop. First proper mod, but it does look very simple to setup, and I like the insulated bits that should help prevent shorts.

Efast protected 18350 cells and xtar charger.

Couple of evods and a twist battery for the missus.

Organic juice from house of liquid - sweet spice and summer fruits. Hopefully they're nice as they're not cheap!

Oh and some kanthal wire for coils, going to pick up some cotton wool roll for wicks as it looks like it's very absorbant and quick flowing, yet costs peanuts.

Looking forward to the postie (hopefully) tomorrow. Three packages so will be a pisser if any one doesn't turn up as I need bits from all three to get the hero up and running...
