You haven't but some of the more swively have implied it. Anyway it was paired with:
It's an administrative adjustment, it will need tweaked.
...and I can't help feeling that in the long term Scotland would fare better as a small republic like Finland, which we resemble in so many ways, than as an annex to England which we we resemble far less.
Sure there might be wobbles and teething troubles but the Union is just flat, lifeless and frankly dull, bloated with politicians wittering about "change" whilst doing nothing of worth.
I'll be voting "Yes".
We'll still be a monarchy after you vote Yes.- Nationalists cannot reasonably claim that there will be no disruption due to the process of independence.

We'll still be using the Pound, in a monetary union, or in the Euro.
We'll still have the same wittering politicians running for office in Scotland, and be annexed to England but with no influence, or even more tightly bound to Brussels.
Is this the independence you're looking for?
I'd be voting No, even if I were you

Briefly; I see no problem in rallying support to the republican cause should the risk of Chuckles loom large.simoid said:

The €uro works OK for Finland, when fixed it'll work fine for us....or maybe join the NOK if it doesn't mend.

Nope. Look at Finland, that's what I'm aiming for.Is this the independence you're looking for?

No, not if you were me you wouldn't. I don't want to keep any UKness at all.
Voting "Yes" is the first step in a great adventure!

OK:
You still haven't told me the difference between Glasgow and newcastle- Unionists cannot reasonably claim that Scotland is uniquely incapable of governing itself.
- Nationalists cannot reasonably claim that there will be no disruption due to the process of independence.
- Scotland more closely resembles Finland than England.
- Scotland would, long term, be better governed like Finland than by England.
But it is the normal operation for the Nats
Make a statement and fail miserably to back it up with anything and ignore all challenges
Two can play that game
The independence movement is driven mostly by jealousy and hatred
Is Finland now the new "Celtic tiger" that the Nats are holding up as an analogue, now that the "arc of prosperity" has crumbled?
Fluff, the problem is not the Euro, the Pound or the Norwegian Krona, it is being heavily indebted without the control of your own currency. If you don't get that by now, you never will.

Aston, the problem is that a fair number of Scots just fancy an 'adventure' away from England and they think this is more likely to happen if they vote YES.Fluff, the problem is not the Euro, the Pound or the Norwegian Krona, it is being heavily indebted without the control of your own currency. So they'll vote YES, no matter what anyone actually explains about the problems with doing so, and how sensible the problems are.
Just look at Swinney:
Question: how will we deal with the problem of more OAPs and a higher pensions bill?
Answer: we'll pay them all more from 2016 if you vote YES.
Beyond. Belief.
I've said it before and I'll say it again - I wouldn't want those SNP clowns setting a budget for my golf club, let alone Scotland.

Ever been to Finland, Fluff? Or does it just look good in books?
Yes, I liked it.

...but my tailor is here in Edinburgh so I'll go for the governance upgrade first.

Desperate for independence, but wanting to emigrate?
And wanting to emigrate to the only country in Europe that isn't about to go down the toilet. Here's a hint; you already live in it.

Ahahaha France seriously? I was just on the phone to my business partner in Paris, you may be well advised to rethink that, clusterf...but my tailor is here in Edinburgh so I'll go for the governance upgrade first.

k is an understatement of the French economy right now!It only becomes a live issue for me if (a) Scotland stays in the UK and (b) the UK leaves the EU; the game in play 2017 is not the game in play right now.
Interesting times.
