Is anyone collecting the car from the factory or has anyone done this before on here and what was it like.

That was my original plan, but I don't think that it is offered in the winter months' which is why it is not currently an option on the configurator.

How do you know ? I've not had an invite : I wonder if Porsche are trying to tell me something !
Andreas called me up and invited me along - I assume he did the same for everyone??

Weird , I went for a curry with him on Friday and he didn't mention it - maybe he'll mention it tonight as we're meeting up for a cheeky pint ? rofl

I know he likes a pint, but he told me you were a Babycham type of person - is that true? If so, I'm not sure the GT3 is for you...

How much weight does the front lift system add and is it absolutely necessary for a resale point of view ?

I think few, if any, options are 'absolutely necessary' and some options will be more or less attractive for different future owners.

My view is that the front lift will be highly attractive to some owners and almost irrelevant for others - I will need it for my car, given the angle of my driveway.

However on resale, I don't think you'd get more than £1k extra for a car with front lift compared to one without, so if you don't need it yourself, you'd probably be unwise to spec it.

Others may disagree...!

I see that the new 991 911 GT3 is on EBay and I have been told that Porsche OPC dealerships are rationing this brochure already.

The brochure doesn't contain anything useful that isn't available on the Internet and the official Porsche press releases.

Wow, some people are a bit on the desperate side of things.. selling brochures on the net..

There's also the 50th anniversary one. i got 2.. i guess that makes me pretty rich..

Actually the 991 GT3 I got.. maybe i should dispose of.. everytime I see it I can feel the deposit getting closer and closer.. and it makes white look oh so damn attractive.. I think about mexico blue, maritime blue, aggressive metallic black.. and then see the brochure and go back to white. Just looks fantastic in white.

Massive want. Even more so since I have tried the GT3 RS.. i really must be in the crazy minority for whom the PDK makes it actually more fun.

Great can I have yours then as I'd quite like a spare to keep for "best" spin

+1 ....andI've always had manual 911's previously (993 c4, 993 Turbo 430, 996 Turbo. 997 C2S, 997 GT3RS.1, 997 Turbo).

BTW is it me or is the GT3 brochure written in excruciatingly poor English. Whatever, I hope the car is more focused than the brochure!
