More diverse views on the 6RS than any of the others? Not sure that makes for great investment potential.
Something like 120 RHDs no?No real original cars left - loads modded for track use.
Loads have been binned and written off/ Cat D etc.
Some example left for South Africa, Hong Kong/various export markets.
Leaves square root of NOTHING if you want to buy an original unmolested car + Last analogue, no electronics, RS = Great appreciation prospects.
ETA: In fact, wasn't this car made in SMALLER quantities than the 993RS?
f

It's today in the PH classifieds at £69,950 but the same car is on their website at £84,950!
Noticed this on Sat, went onto website and car was £84,950 and checked yesterday (Mon)and altered, certainly cannot justify that money for it now.
Was going to phone and get details at £70k but who is going to buy now??
If anyone does find history (what little there must be) post on here.
Thanks.

Yes, and doubt it will ever be worth more
It's a much better and more involving driving tool but when did that ever have any bearing on the value of a Porsche? Seems to me that classic status is bestowed by a group of hairy twerps who are life long members of the Jethro Tull worshiper club, drink beer called Old Thumper and bottle their own farts in the desperate hope that they may regenerate in 2000 years and take over the world. That's what I think anyway...
By the way, Does anybody know if a bottled fart would still smell in 2500 years?

Tells you everything you want to know about Porsche owners - a few are driving aficianados, the rest are just canny That's what I think anyway...

I expect Rohrl & Preuninger have a 6RS stashed away in their private collection. or is it a 4.0RS? Some will say the 6RS is the sharpest & purest tool that came out of Stuttgart.
I'd like a blue/white one, manages to look stunning despite the challenged looks of the headlights.

Steve, you seem like a man in the know. What's your view on the differences between the 6, 7.1 and 7.2 RS on a like for like basis (ie, switch PASM and ESP etc off)? That's what I think anyway...

Uh oh. Now you've done it. He's going to tell you to find every 7.1 in your neighborhood, set fire to it, smash up the house it's parked outside, and shoot the dog.Harris_I said:

He can't help it, I think it's an age thing...He'll be telling you that RS's should never have come with AC next as that costs you 0.1 seconds per lap

The Norfolk left hooker is back on the market? It's been for sale since the dawn of time.
Bold claim from the seller that the car will increase in value by 20% each year if the mileage is kept low.
not as funny as him trying to make a huge turn on my old banger for £67k, a car that JZM couldn't shift for sub £50k upto 3 months ago....Bold claim from the seller that the car will increase in value by 20% each year if the mileage is kept low.

Not 0969 again! As you say, it was advertised for £49,900 at JZM only last month. Crashed at the Nurburgring, repaired at Manthey Racing, for sale for a very long time at JZM. £63k then reduced and further reduced to £49,900. agtlaw said:
