Knickerbrook renamed?
Discussion
Maybe the hill (straight) is called Clay Hill but the corner is called City Hall?
A quick google search finds it's mention on here, 1st paragraph under qualifying - http://racecarbuzz.com/events/2013-british-gt-oult... and on here - http://www.flickr.com/photos/bpw-galleries/8672140...
Maybe it's new?

Always been Clay to me.
In reality they had to do something about Knickerbrook, the whole stetch from Island up and over Knickerbrook in modern machinery was just becomming mental. It wasnt a problem whilst they just used Fosters during the 80s as such because the straight and speeds over Knickerbrook were much reduced. But putting the whole lot back in just made it a mental place to be. Also challenging as hell!

Maybe someone with bad eyesight just misread Clay Hill as City Hall - after all they do look similar if you squint.
Deffo this, I'd say: la easily becomes it, then the mind's eye automatically sees Hall after CityYou get a similar situation, magnified many times, on the Gutenberg Project books you can get on Kindle: they've scanned the pages of old, out-of-print books, then used character-recognition software to digitize the text to make it suitable for the Kindle digital format - and many of the 'words' you come across are simply unintelligible, where the character-recognition has failed.

There is NO feature at Oulton called City Hall. It's just a misreading of Clay Hill. A big problem with the internet is that lazy people just cut & paste others' work without bothering to proofread or check facts, so errors are copied ad nauseam.

I would love to know why MSV had to change Foulstons to Brittens, as it was named after the late, and some say great, John Foulston who held the helm of the Brands Hatch group. I could understand renaming it if it had been named after Nicola Foulston, the woman who helped destroy everything her late father achieved.
Same goes for Snetterton with various corners and parts being renamed.
At least they've left Cadwell alone.
