My 1.7 Puma'd Fiesta
Discussion
OP, whilst I hate what you are doing with a passion, it's your life, do as you wish and face the consequences WHEN caught.
Now, on to your dilemma on this thread, I'd be tempted to access you photobucket account and remove the pictures quoted on page 1. These is little evidence other than peoples conjecture at this point. THEN, declare it as a 1.7 with the insurance company AND the DVLA, it's an inconsequential cost at the end of the day, as you have pointed out, making it easier to sell on is pointless anyway, you will just strip it for parts when it's time to move it on.

And don't think they don't look. Google "Puma'd Fiesta".
And Tom Woodall has been nice enough to post many pictures of DG51 KKX for them to verify the identity of the car with too. Still at least he is a stand up guy, making sure he doesn't change the car's engine on the logbook, so some other young moron can commit insurance fraud too - saves a few bob and perpetuates the cycle of idiocy.eltax91 said:

Are you failing to grasp that insurance is primarily to protect you, me and every other road user out there, not the OP's wallet incase he has to make a claim? It's not just that he has had the cheek to post here bragging about how he has cheated the system where most of us have had the integrity and the passion for motoring to pay up and do things properly. If you ever have an uninsured driver crash into your car, I hope you remember your attitude to insurance in this thread, particularly when you are told he is uninsured and can go f
k yourself and your wrecked car. It's not just his life, and he does not bear the consequences of his actions alone, he's taking a chance with the cars, health and wellbeing and NCB of every other driver out there.
You have dug up an old post but I don't see why people haven't explained the issues properly - they just have a go (as per normal)
If the OP cause an excident on the M1 this BH Monday, he could cause couple of hundred thousand pounds of damages and claims. If is car is not insured due to undeclared mods (insurance companies will do almost anything to get out of paying out) then that few hundred thousand pounds of liability could now lay on the OPs head. That's a lot of £££££.
If he hit my car and write it off and his insurance wouldn't pay up, I know where I would be going to recoup some money

His insurance would pay for your loss - they could seek to recoup their loss by going after the driver.
Never had an accident in 20yrs of driving so why would I know
So if I get whip lash from an uninsured driver and have to go to physio for 6months, my 3rd party fire and theft insurance policy pays?
So there is no issue then that he has no insurance? My insurance covers it all anyway - wahoo!!

No issue for you anyway - his policy will pay out on your claim. He would have to pay the insurance company for their outlay though.

When did I say that? Are you having trouble understanding this thread, or are you just deliberately posting nonsense?

An insurance company of any driver always has a 3rd party liability. If the OP, with a modified vehicle, hits your car, the insurance company settles your loss. Then probably wouldn't settled his, assuming then discover the modifications. They are then within their right to peruse their client for the damages they settled to the 3rd party.

The only difference is if you were hit by a driver with no insurance whatsoever. This happened to my brother. He ended up (eventually) having his case funded by the MIB. Not without having paid out significant cash himself in the short term, mind

But being hit by an unisured driver (or someone with invalid insurance) isn't just about the cost of some panel beating.Car crashes can change lives and that was my point but people were seemingly just worried about the precious cars.
But if people are saying that his insurance (even though its not valid) would still cover my compensation claim against him should I be paralysed in an accident that was his fault then that's ok.

I would imagine he means that he's declared it to his insurers. (Probably/possibly/not at all)
He said he hadn't in this thread, and 2 months ago stared a what car thread. I should imagine he's got bored and sold it on by now.Baryonyx said:
A bit out of order? No, defrauding your insurers is out of order. Putting everyone else on the road at risk because you're too tight to pay up is '
ish'. I suspect you can't see that because you're young Jack, but you'd be humming a different tune if he piled into the side of your 330 or S3 and were left with your dick in your hand because he wasn't insured.
Why would he have his dick in his hand??? Fantasy of yours?

I sold it to a mate who now has it as a track car. If you wann get all picky about that then take it up with somebody else. I didnt declare stuff silly I know but oh well I didnt cause any accidents and I owned it for 6 months. Ive now moved on to a clio 172 and its much more of a drivrs car
