Are you Stateside now, chap?
I am indeed, what gave it away?

One thing I love so far is that anytime you're near a road, you only have to wait for a couple of minutes until you hear a rumbling V8. It's a pleasant din smile

That's the one up for £4995 locally to you, yes? What was the mileage?

Nice!!

They're staggeringly good, especially considering the entry fee.

116k.

I have never been in a car that has worn the miles so well. BMW did their homework here.

Either everything's been replaced, or an Irishman's clocked it.

Couple of cheap daft niggles to sort, and we're away.

Even the insurance is cheap.

If we'd clocked it, we'd have put the mileage up, not down.

Christ knows why, but I saw this and thought of you.

Tragically sad, I know.

Bloody hell that's tidy.

Nothing like a blue interior either. lick

Went all round the bloody houses on Monday. Birkenhead - Dartford - Kent - Leatherhead - Birkenhead.

And the bds had shut off a junction of the M25 so we had to go up the M3 then back again.

Did however, come back mit one Austin Westminster shell and a Transit full of the bits needed to put it back together.

5 am we got home. 22 hours on the road.

Christ knows when Plop Snr's getting all these projects done, he's going back to Sewf Effrica on Saturday.

Here's a really stupid question - assuming the same grade, diesel and petrol engines use the same oil, right?

The oil manufacturers do market oils specifically for diesels, and I guess they might have slightly different additives in, but any old oil should be OK.

Especially for a Berlingo. hehe

I entered the Berlingo registration into the Mobil find an oil for my car tool and it came up blank. biglaugh Maybe chip fat is good enough. wink

Bung some left over Shell Helix you have around the garage and be done smokin

If it's not thick enough, bung some veg oil in too. Should run like a treat. wink

Changing oil?..

Did the track day this weekend too! Was good fun.

On my third session I started catching up to a Caterham.

Toyota GT86 couldn't keep up neither.

All this in a 23 year old £500 Toyota Supra, the rear 'Wanlis' are fked now though.

That 164 is nice but I'd prefer it if it had a more 'interesting' interior: ox blood, tan, WHY?
