Big storm streaming just east of the Kent Coast at the moment, looks like a big lump will hit Kent soon. Other concentrated storms moving up through France to hit the South Coast later - likely to be the South West.

Camping in Poole his weekend with 3 other couples. Weather not looking great at all.

I guess we will be drying everything out next week before packing it away properly (unless you proper weather folks on PH know better).

Weather for the weekend will be dominated by low pressure to the north of UK. So changeable at best, and breezy too.

Thanks for that - it is a far better story than the Beeb and Accuweather were telling me. Let's hope that is the correct one, we may get a showery BBQ on Saturday and go home with a reasonably dry tent on Sunday.

Well to be fair it is warm (car outside temp averages around 15-18) but not sure about the sun though. Dark, humid and gloomy... not good outlook so far.

Nice and warm in Guildford, infact pretty hot.. I reckon 24-25'c, cars probably showing 28-29'c.

Thats the same weather we have here in Kent and yeah the car was showing 28 when I went to lunch (although due to leather and it being sat in the sun all morning it felt a damn site hotter than that)

It was 35 degrees, and the pool was lovely.
