Looks OK, the 600 Fazers were a little weak lower in the revs, this should sort that then.

I want a Fazer though with a cross plane crank. That would make me very happy.

I quite like it, the 14litre tank is pants though. Yamaha need to increase that to around 18litre to make the bike that bit better on range between fill ups.
Very honda VFR1200 like in fuel tank size decision Yamaha!

I will test ride one to compare against the Street and Speed triples I've ridden before.

Agree with this! A new fz1 with the cross plane crank r1 engine and an updated chassis (decent rear shock) would be ideal!

I had actually ordered a fz8 but when I saw this I had to have it. Love the look apart from the clocks from the front. The engine swung it for me. Bike ordered. Can't wait :-)

The mountings for the screen are already on the naked version which should hide the clocks.

I'm waiting for the half faired/adventure version.
