Not a fan personally. Has the same problem as the Maser Grantourismo cabrio. Looks too long from the side profile. The smaller v8 Vantage roadster looks much better imo.

Should find lot's of buyers at a certain manchester football club, especially in those colours, the other club has to drive Chevrolets and NO CORVETTES allowed either.

There is something very, very right about that....looks brilliant side on with the roof down. Seems to work better than the tin top which is unusual.

Just tried to go to the Aston Martin website and it's taking me to a site about garden features.

Is it just me?

Sparks a hint of desperation.
Certainly not ugly but the rear spoiler in my eyes pushes it into Jaguar esque styling.

Bottom line for me as already asked, is it twice the car of a Jaguar XKR-S? I'm not convinced at all.

The website worked for me but it had a horribly blurred computer generated image of this car so I had to close it quickly, I just couldn't bear to look.

Same argument as the F Type vs Vantage
The Jags will inevitable take some sales
IME many will "buy with their heart" and end up in an Aston.
If the Vanquish is too much (price & styling) then the DB9.2 will fit the bill.

As the majority have already stated, exquisite car, but the blue interior is just a tad too much.

Managed to find the white over tan courtesy of Google, looks well also.

Do doubt. Certain cars can price hugely on the brand. Ferrari etc. Aston have done the same but for me the brand isn't the last word of exclusivity that it once was and without being too harsh, £200k for an overweight GT with over-trodden styling, I feel is pushing it.

Of course some will buy regardless but I can't say there is a whole lot of value for money going on here.

Saw some this morning and they really are a beautiful car. The camouflaged test car passed by me as well. Serious amount of want for this top off Vanquish from me.

yes
But Aston has never worried about value for money wink
They sold all the 1-77's, they presold the 2 CC100's, they sold all 1000 V12V coupes and all 101 V12V roadsters. (just don't mention the overpriced V12 Zagota hehe )
I do agree they are sitting on their (diminishing) laurels though.

Rather take the Jag F-Type any day of the week.
