I've seen an underwriter almost reduced to tears when he realised that all his hours of negotiations with insurers and staring at spreadsheets were for naught because customers would pay an extra forty or fifty quid in return for a cuddly bloody meerkat.

I think the problem being outlined is that there is no actual fun to be had by naming meerkats, unless of course you are 2 and get a big round of applause every time you say a word correctly.
Delighted to hear that you don't use comparison sites though. That knowledge has no-doubt enriched the lives of many today

I found my insurance from the comparison site then rang the company direct got it a little bit cheaper but still recieved the meerkat.

Aslong as you actually buy the insurance as a result of finding it through the comparison site you can still get the toy.

I can probably live with the fact that I don't appeal to people who are in love with saying the names of fluffy advertising meerkats.

My insurance was renewed at the end of April with ' the sea captain ' via the Meerkat site and I am yet to see a toy
