Passing over Eling wharf thought I'd take a picture seeming that the tide was in

Far too nice this afternoon to be sat at home working so I shot out for a swift 30ish miler, photo taken from Linkenholt looking NE toward Pilot Hill, Faccombe, Walbury Hill just out of shot to the left, did them all on a circular route of some 646 metres climbing in 26 miles.

Rode out to Oulton today and watched a bit of the trackday that was taking place

This boy I came across later was making about as much noise as the bikes!

Did you get it fitted when you first bought it? (Not that I imagine Hargroves are particularly good at that sort of thing)

It just looks like the saddle's too high, and you're compensating by angling the saddle down to push your grindle onto the front of it.

Try levelling the saddle with a spirit level, and lower the seat a couple of inches.

The saddle isn't too high. Considering putting up further. Not been fitted. It's angled that way for comfort.

Gary I would try levelling it off first before raising it further...... If you've got that much seat post and need more I would suggest the frame is a tad on the small side for you.

Lol unfortunately that was the largest frame cube did. It's angled that way for comfort of my testies. Lol.

I'm not surprised..... all you need do is look at the difference in levels between seat and handlebar stems.... there's "aggressive" and then there's nad breaking!!

Thing is in terms of riding you're going to be constantly sliding forward and compensating with legs/arms both of which will unduly tire you... as for the largest Cube did... there are other manufacturers getmecoat

Lol. Well it's a 62cm frame. I'll try straightening out the seat if my nads hurt I'm coming to you for repairs. Lol

Each to their own , Ive had some funny saddle setups in past, that just seemed to "work for me" . I always used to slope my saddle forwards, but found I slightly slid down and thus puts pressure on holding me back up

Now I ride level and find it loads more comfy on 60-120 mile rides

Annoying thing with Saddle adjustments is that it takes 100s of miles for the body to adjust and get used to it.

or raising the handlebar stem..... might need replacing, but by leaning so low you're putting more undue pressure on your "delicates"......(btw Cube make a 64cm don't they?) (btw btw sorry for the thread drift)

I do indeed. Is sorn'd at present. Was planning on getting it MOT'd etc. next week...

If I'm honest though, I think I'm happier when out cycling! Don't get me wrong, the RR is awesome but... I don't know, just enjoying cycling more tbh... And with limited time the cycling was coming first, hence not using the RR.

I am quite keen to remember what it feels like to wind it up to 160 odd though hehe

You're not that tall though, are you? Your knee shouldn't fully extend on the pedal stroke.
