In lieu of a holiday, at least while the project I'm on keeps rumbling on, I've booked a weekend in a hotel in Lyme Regis for Mrs C and me. Leave work on the Thursday night, drive to Dorset on the Friday, enjoy Five stars, sea view, the whole enchilada, home on Sunday and back into work on Monday.

That'll do. Minimal disruption to the job and a holiday to look forward to when the nightmare contract finishes.
